Skagit Valley College Pickleball Pavilion

HKP Architects partnered with TRICO Construction in a design-assist role to create a covered Pickleball Pavilion providing sheltered play for 10 courts.  Located at Skagit Valley College, the structure is a pre-engineered metal building designed to protect players and the courts from the sun, wind, and, rain while enjoying fresh air and controlled natural daylighting.  This is the largest dedicated pickleball facility in the area and provides access to students, faculty, local Pickleball association members, and the general public.

At long last, first serve! The Claude Blackburn Pickleball Pavilion at Skagit Valley College was officially opened in June 2022. Thank you to SVC, the SVC Foundation, and especially our Design/Build partner Trico Construction for working together towards this milestone! It’s been a long process for getting these shorter courts in play.
