Lakedale Resort Yurts

Lakedale Resort sits on 82 acres of beautiful wooded grounds with three spring water lakes in the middle of San Juan Island.  It has been a favorite family get-away, retreat center and wedding venue for years, and is home to the main Lodge, log cabins, canvas cabins, campsite, and now seven fabulously sited yurts.  Sitting on the southern peninsula, the yurts are nestled into the pristine cedar forest with lake and meadow views.

HKP Architects worked with Lakedale Resort to site the yurts, design the interior layouts and organize the parking and paths to each unit.  Each yurt features a viewing deck with hot tub, a bathroom and open studio accommodations.  A unique project in a unique setting – sure to be a memorable stay for all kinds of visitors.
