March MVLC Update: Construction Details
This month we have been working on literally thousands of details required for the construction of the new Mount Vernon Library Commons. From stair railings to cabinets and window details, every corner of the building needs to be illustrated in enough detail to convey to the contractor exactly how it is to be built.
The City also hired OAC at the Construction Manager for the project. OAC will oversee bidding and construction as the Owner’s Representative, and will work closely with HKP and its team to coordinate the Bid Documents, reconcile the budget and make any necessary adjustments to the schedule.
